0voteA: Good question. You will want to pour the water before the sealant. Here are the quick and easy steps to installing the bell trap assembly. 1. Insert the bell trap with the o-ring into the urinal and turn clockwise to tighten. 2. Install the strainer onto the bell trap. 3. Fill trapway with approximately 1 quart of water.
