Q: I have received the Zurn 66955-198-9 Hydrant Repair Kit but I am not sure how to assemble the components for the vacuum breaker. Do you have instructions available or can you tell/show me how the parts are assembled.

    A: There are 4 pieces from this Hydrant Repair Kit that rebuild the Vacuum Breaker: Here is the order that they fit into the hydrant starting from the bottom to the top: 1- Float 2- Float Washer 3- O-Ring 4- Bonnet Thread the vacuum breaker cap back on and the repair is complete.     A: This Zurn 66955-198-9 Hydrant Repair Kit (Part #133901) will work for Zurn Z1345 Wall Hydrant that has a Round Vacuum Breaker cap on the top. If you have a 6 sided Vacuum Breaker cap on the top, you will need to replace the complete Zurn Hydrant with the Z1345. If you have any other questions our experts are here to help!
